Year-end gatherings bring people together, carrying the Vietnamese sense of abundance and shared wishes into the early days of spring. In the gentle transition of the season, the Tết fruit platter became a symbol of reunion and meaningful connection around the table.

On January 24, ÚNU, together with Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Bailliage du Viêt-Nam, welcomed guests for “Mâm Quả Ngày Tết” in a setting shaped by warm light and an unhurried rhythm. The evening unfolded through thoughtful details, quiet conversations, and a dining experience that reflected the spirit of Tết through a contemporary lens.
Guided by Chef Đồng Hoàng Nam, the menu was developed as a progression of flavors. Refined canapés offered a composed beginning to the night. The starter of crab, tamarillo, and Buddha’s hand citrus introduced a bright and lifted expression, followed by Hokkaido scallop and pork served with sticky rice and harissa sauce, bringing warmth and depth to the table. Each course was arranged with balance, allowing the experience to flow naturally from one moment to the next.
Through its culinary language, ÚNU shared an interpretation of Tết that honored familiar ingredients while presenting them with renewed structure and sensibility. Glasses were raised, stories were exchanged, and the evening settled into a graceful rhythm of early-year gathering.
We sincerely thank Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Bailliage du Viêt-Nam for this meaningful collaboration, and extend our appreciation to every guest who joined us in marking the season together.
We look forward to welcoming you to our upcoming special occasions at ÚNU.
